Visa Information

Participants attending PhytoTMed-2027 in Kuala Lumpur may require a visa depending on their nationality. We strongly recommend checking the applicable visa and entry requirements well in advance to ensure a smooth travel and application process.

All international participants travelling to Malaysia should ensure they carry the necessary travel documents, including:

  • A valid passport
  • Visa or eVisa (if applicable)
  • Proof of accommodation
  • Return or onward travel tickets
  • Sufficient financial means for the duration of stay

Official Invitation Letter

Participants requiring an official invitation letter to support their visa application are requested to submit a formal request to the conference secretariat during or after the registration process. Invitation letters will be issued only to participants who meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • The participant is an author of an accepted abstract (oral or poster presentation); or
  • The participant has completed the full registration payment for PhytoTMed-2027.

Please note that the invitation letter is intended solely to assist with the visa application process and does not constitute a financial commitment or guarantee of visa approval by the conference organizers.

Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)

Effective from 1 January 2024, all foreign nationals travelling to Malaysia are required to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) within three (3) days prior to arrival, except for categories exempted by the Malaysian authorities.

Cancellation Due to Visa Rejection

Participants who are unable to attend due to visa rejection may request a refund of the registration fee paid, subject to deduction of applicable administrative charges per registered participant.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to the conference secretariat no later than 20 (twenty) working days prior to the conference start date to be eligible for consideration. Requests received after this deadline will not qualify for a refund. (Saturday and Sunday are not considered working days.)
